Chewie is in second place and needs Facebook "Likes" to win.
A Lake Zurich Samoyed named Chewie is a finalist in the NutriSource Top Dog 2014 contest but needs more votes.
Owner Leslie Wohlscheid Loughman put a call out on Facebook for “likes” to help Chewie, who is currently in second place.
Chewie was chosen from over 700 dogs in the national photo contest.

To vote for Chewie, “Like” his photo on NutriSource’s Facebook page. Voting ends on Friday, October 4. The winner will be announced on Saturday, October 5.
The winner gets free food for a year and his or her photo on the NutriSource bag.
