There's plenty to do in Lake Zurich this week. Here is a look ahead at some of the highlights:
Monday, July 29: Lake Zurich Dance’s Meet the Teachers. Come to an open house for the Lake Zurich Parks and Recreation new dance programs. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Buffalo Creek, 675 Old Mill Grove, Lake Zurich.
Thursday, Friday, Aug. 1, 2: St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church St., Lake Zurich, is holding its annual BBQ-To-Go from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day. A $10 order will get you a pulled pork or beef brisket sandwich and two sides (choice of potato salad, coleslaw, or baked beans). Brothers Ribs prepares the delicious food. Order forms are available at the church office, or online at www.stpeterlz.org.

Saturday, Aug. 3: Lake Zurich Bike Rodeo will offer safety skills, obstacle courses and other activities. The rodeo will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Parents are invited to join in, and peddle Paulus Park. Concessions will be available.
