Lake Zurich Drama Students Present "Pages to Stages" this Weekend!

Local students perform hilarious twist on classic fairy tales this weekend

What happens when you mix the creative minds of 2nd graders with the comedic talents of high school drama students? A action-packed hour of nonsense and mayhem sure to delight audiences of all ages!

Come check out LZHS Honors Studio Theatre showcase, “Pages to Stages” this weekend! A hilarious spin on classic fairy tales, our students tapped into the creative minds of 2nd graders at May Whitney, turning their fractured fairy tales into a collection of short plays and mini-musicals.

David Harmon, the drama teacher overseeing the production insists that his students “encouraged creativity and thinking outside the box...let’s just say they got more than they bargained for!”

Pictured above is Rap-an-zel (Amy Holtschult) complaining to her Prince (Peter Iliopoulos) about her hair being stuck in ice blocks (Emily Sandstedt and Shelby Rigsby). How will she get out? You’ll have to come and see!
