Team to compete in Orlando in February.

Submitted by Michelle Wendell.

The Lake Zurich High School Varsity Poms Team has qualified to compete in the UDA National Dance Team championship in Orlando, FL in February, 2014. The girls had been preparing for months and all of their hard work paid off!

The team qualified for next year’s national championship while competing at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Elite Camp in Normal, Illinois earlier this summer. The girls qualified by placing in the top three for their home routine and through high scoring individual performances.  They received numerous Top Honor Blue Ribbon s and trophies.  At the camp, the girls learned new dance skills, collegiate level routines and competed against several top high school squads from the Midwest.
