The buzz is growing for the grand opening of Lake Zurich Area Farmers Market.
The market opens with a ribbon cutting at 2:45 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Paulus Park, 200 S. Rand Road. It kicks off the season, which will run through Sept. 27
Lake Zurich Farmers Market will offer lots of vendors selling things like organic veggies to maple bacon doughnuts. A list of the vendors is available on the market’s Facebook page.
Last week, organizers unviled the winning logo design submitted by Lake Zurich High School students. The winner was Melissa Uhl of Hawthorn Woods. Her winning design is now featured on the market’s Facebook page.
The market will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. every Friday throughout the season.
