Lake Zurich Police: Disorderly Conduct, Theft, Warrant Arrest, Bike Stolen

Note: The following information was obtained from the Lake Zurich police department. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Disorderly conduct
Spiro G. Houmpavali, 23, of 6845 North Lavergne, Skokie, was arrested for disorderly conduct when he was spotted swimming nude in the late on June 14, police said. Houmpavali was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a court date of July 12 in Mundelein.

Theft
A resident in the 800 block of White Birch Lane told police someone took the window of her vehicle, police said. The value of the windows is $200. The report was filed June 14.

Warrant arrest
Edward W. Rosenthal, 20, of 8 Newgate Court, Lake Zurich, was arrested at his residence on June 14 on an Iowa warrant, police said. Rosenthal was wanted for dangerous drugs, reports stated. Rosenthal was unable to post the $25,000 cash bond.

Bike stolen
A bike valued at $475 was stolen from a garage in the 1200 block of
Pheasant Ridge Road on June 15, according to police.

Theft reported
Someone stole a man’s wallet from a restaurant in the 700 block of South Rand Road, Lake Zurich on June 16, police said. The victim told police the wallet contained $230 in cash. An investigation is ongoing.
