Lake Zurich Police: Warrant for Unlawful Possession, DUIs, Theft
Police release weekend reports.

Unlawful possession warrant
Kathryn P. Baranowski, 23, of 686 Trailside Drive, Lake Zurich, was arrested on a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance on October 21 at her residence, police said. Baranowski was released after posting $1,000 bond with a Waukegan court date of November 13.Â

DUI arrest
Edward M. Winkler, 56, of 670 Pine Street Deerfield, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 following a traffic stop on Route 22 at Hillandale Court October 20, according to police. He was also cited for improper lane usage, reports stated. Winkler was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of November 18.

DUI
John Patrick B. Bui, 41, of 23936 Long Grove Road, Deer Park, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with blood alcohol content greater than .08 and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said. Bui was arrested following a crash investigation on Route 12 at South Old Rand Road. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of November 18.Â
Theft
Someone stole a video game system and five to six video games from a home in the 200 block of South Buesching Road sometime October 18, police reports stated. The value of the loss is unknown. This matter is under investigation.Â
Retail Theft
Someone stole a Dyson vacuum cleaner, valued at $750, from their business in the 600 block of North Rand Road on October 18, police said.
