Lake Zurich traffic crackdown results
Police increased traffic enforcement over Thanksgiving holiday
Lake Zurich Police gave out 31 seat belt citations and made 13 DUI arrests between November 14 to 18, according to the Daily Herald. The increased enforcement was an effort to reduce unbuckled or impaired drivers, but police also made three arrests for suspended or revoked licenses and made 18 citations for drivers who were using mobile devices.
