Letter to the Editor: Sports Leaders Endorse Ela First

 We are hereby endorsing the incumbent Ela First Party for the upcoming election because we feel that they will continue to work hard for the residents of Ela Township and make it a priority for the well-being and safety of these residents. 

Their ongoing programs for the area youth and elderly have had a very positive effect and their fiscal responsibility and being wise with taxpayers' dollars is second to none.  During their 8 year tenure they have progressively made our township a better place to live.  With the addition of community servant Lynn O'Brien, the Ela First Party is even that much stronger.  She has been a proactive servant and well respected business person in our community. 

We would like to see the Ela First Party continue their effective success on our township for at least the next four years.  Having been very involved in local youth sports and working with the Ela First members for many years, we know that they heard our needs and proactively responded with their support to ensure that we provided the necessary facilities and other vital services for the success of the youth in our community. 

We wanted to share our respectful support for Lucy Prouty and the incumbent Ela First team consisting of John Barrington, Bill Kruckenburg, Larry Bowman, Jack Reck, Nancy Thompson, Bill Donnan, and newcomer Lynn O'Brien.  Good luck to all of you on April 9th!
