LZ Building & Zoning Settles into New Location

Lake Zurich’s Building and Zoning Division is getting a new home.

The division is operating out of the Community Services Facility, 505 Telser Road.

Building & Zoning is responsible for preserving and enhancing the quality of life in the village through planning, administration and enforcement of the Village’s Comprehensive Plan, land development and zoning and building codes, according to the village’s website.

Some of the services the division provides is review, approval and issuance of permits for all construction projects, inspections and guides applications through project phases of development and approval process, the website states.

The new location allows for more coordinated review of building permits and provide for expanded hours of operation. Hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
