Mariano’s Seeks to Hire Hundreds for New Lake Zurich Store

Mariano’s is having a job fair Saturday, December 7, for hundreds of positions at its new Lake Zurich store.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ela Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich.

Mariano’s is seeking to fill 450 to 500 positions for its new store at the northwest corner of Quentin Road and Route 22 in Lake Zurich. The new store has a grand opening scheduled for early 2014.

The company is seeking experienced and entry-level candidates with a knack for excellent customer service who are seeking a rewarding career with a growing company.

Positions range from part-time responsibilities such as bagging, cashiers, deli service, and bakery to full-time careers including department managers and store managers. All types of backgrounds and experience are being sought, from high school-aged teenagers looking for their first job, adults looking to make a little extra spending money a few days a week, or those looking to bring their management training to a new company. Resumes are optional for this job fair event.

The new 74,000 square foot Marino’s store is part of the larger Bradford Town Crossing development that Lake Zurich hopes to be a springboard for larger economic growth opportunities along the Route 22 corridor. The Lake Zurich store is the 14th location for Mariano’s in the Chicago metropolitan area.
