Men Charged in Richmond Bank Robbery
FBI filed charges late Friday against two men and released name of Chicago man killed in attempted robbery at Richmond bank.

The FBI on Saturday released the name of the man shot during an attempted bank robbery in Richmond on Friday morning, and announced charges against the other two men taken into custody.
Tony Starnes, 45, of the 7800 block of S. Marquette Ave., Chicago, was killed at about 11:30 a.m. May 10, during a shootout with FBI officers in the parking lot of Associated Bank, 10910 N. Main St. (Route 12), in Richmond, the Daily Herald reports.
Starnes was shot to death by FBI special agents after allegedly ramming a Honda Civic into one of their vehicles, the story said.

Two other men taken into custody during the attempted robbery were formally charged late Friday. Aaron Russell, 40, of the 9200 block of Hunter Dr., Orland Hills, and Robert Favela, 34, of the 500 block of S. California Ave., Chicago, each were charged with attempted robbery, a felony offense, the Daily Herald reports.
