Obituary: Virginia Elaine Olson

Visitation for Virginia Elaine Olson (nee Klang), 86, of Kildeer, will be held Sunday, October 20 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.

Interment will be private.  

Virginia passed away October 15, 2013 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago on August 14, 1927 to Ellen (nee Roman) and Elmer Klang. On October 2, 1948, Virginia married Alfred Olson, a Christian Missionary to foreign lands. They labored together to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and raise their eight children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.  

They are survived by all 8 of their children: Ellen Parks, Stephen, David, Brian, Fred, Stan, Thomas and Daniel.  Alfred and Virginia have 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  

Virginia will continue to be greatly loved and dearly missed by both family and friends around the world.
