Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce Launches PalHunt
On September 13, 2020, area residents can take part in an outdoor clue hunt throughout the city of Palatine.
The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) will be hosting an inaugural scavenger hunt on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from noon to 6:00 p.m., with the last entries being accepted at 7:30 p.m. This outdoor clue hunt will take participants to nine separate locations throughout the Palatine community.
This scavenger hunt was created in connection with the Explore Palatine event which takes place the Saturday before, and is meant to promote and support all Palatine businesses and PACC members.
Residents from Palatine and neighboring cities are welcome to attend, regardless of age. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per team. The first-place winning individual or team will receive a 50/50 split of the funds raised. The other half of the funds will benefit the Keep Palatine Strong Fund, which supports small storefront businesses in Palatine who’ve been financially impacted with significant losses due to COVID-19. One member from each team must have a smartphone to download the Eventzee app, in order to participate in the scavenger hunt.
