Powerball Rolls to $317 Million

Powerball has rolled again bringing the jackpot to a whopping $317 million for Saturday night’s drawing – the ninth largest jackpot in the game’s history.

The current jackpot’s cash value is $176.3 million, after withholding: $123.4 million. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1:31.8 while the overall odd of winning the jackpot is 1:175,000,000.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 11 - 19 - 33 - 42 - 52 and the Powerball was 33. While no one won Wednesday night’s jackpot, over 32,000 Illinoisans won prizes ranging from $10,000 to $4.

Since Illinois introduced this multi-state lottery game, Powerball has contributed an estimated $120 million to the Illinois Common School Fund and Capital Projects Fund.
