Pro-Life Action League Returns to Lake Zurich

Members of the Pro-Life Action League will be returning to Lake Zurich Thursday, July 18, with a demonstration against abortion.

The “Face the Truth Tour” will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 12 (Rand Road) and Route 22.

Displays, which include graphic depictions of aborted fetuses, will be placed at all points of the intersection. Signs will be posted in the area to warn residents, pedestrians and other drivers of the demonstration to allow time to alert their route to avoid the demonstration if they so chose, police said in a press release.  

It will be the 14th annual tour for Pro-Life Action League in the northwest suburbs and the city of Chicago. The group uses graphic photos and videos to lay “bare the blatant lies and hypocrisy used by the abortionists to conceal the wholesale slaughter of unborn babies,” according to the group’s website. “Photos of these aborted children rip off the mask of ‘choice.’ “

The Lake Zurich Police Department will monitor the area of the demonstration to make sure there is no breach of the peace and to advise participants where they can display their signs as pedestrians, according to the release.
