Recycle Electronics with Ela Township, March 23

The Ela Highway Dept. is sponsoring two electronics recycling events this year.  The events will be held on Saturday, March 23, and Saturday, July 27.  The times for both events will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will be held at 1155 E. Rt. 22 in Lake Zurich.

Accepted items include: televisions, computers/accessories, monitors, keyboards, scanners, printers, cell phones, stereos, MP3s, alkaline and rechargeable batteries, holiday lights, CD players, DVD players, VCRs, video games, cameras, telephones, fax machines, shredders, microwaves and small household applilances.  Not accepted: air conditioners, large appliances, refrigerators and freezers (any size), and chemical waste.  NO COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
