New Life will host Vacation Bible School the week of August 3 – 7, 2015. The theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School is: Lord, Teach Us to Pray. The theme comes from Luke 11:1. The disciples noticed how Jesus prayed and one of them asked Him to teach them how to pray. He responded by giving to them and to all of His disciples of all time a prayer we call the Lord’s Prayer. During the five days of VBS the kids will learn the Lord’s Prayer. They will learn how the prayer is broken down into the Address, Seven Petitions and the Doxology. During the week the kids will learn five Bible stories that illustrate the truths of each of the petitions.

Sand Volleyball Camp

In addition to VBS, New Life will also offer a sand volleyball camp for kids third through eighth grade the week of VBS (August 3-7). The volleyball camp will run from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM and will be held on New Life’s church property. This year, volleyball players from LZHS will help with camp.

The cost for the camp is $35 ($30 if you attend VBS as well), which includes a t-shirt. This fee can be paid on the first day of camp. At camp the kids will learn the fundamental skills needed to play volleyball, the rules of the game and most of all, how to have fun playing volleyball.

Kids attending VBS can simply stay for the volleyball camp. Just bring a sack lunch to VBS. To attend the sand volleyball camp as well as VBS, check the appropriate box on the electronic registration form.
