Women's Hearts for Healing Hosts Fundraiser at d'Vine Wine and Gifts

Women’s Hearts for Healing is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at d’Vine Wine and Gifts which will benefit The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of North and Northwest Cook County. This organization provides a place for children of abuse to tell their story one time to a team of people dedicated to helping them heal.

The fundraiser will include tastings of a variety of wines and craft beer, as well as delicious appetizers and raffles. Attendees will 5% off of any mix and match case of wine, and 15% of all wine sales during the event will be donated to CAC of North and Northwest Cook County in Hoffman Estates.

Space is limited, so call d’Vine Wine and Gifts in advance to reserve your spot in advance at 847-359-9463. The cost to attend is $30 per person, and walk-ins are welcome (if space is still available).

The event will be held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 27 at d’Vine Wine and Gifts, 243 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine, located in the same mall as Hobby Lobby.

About CAC of North and Northwest Cook County

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of North and Northwest Cook County provides a place for children of abuse to tell their story one time to a team of people dedicated to helping them heal. Prior to their existence, abuse victims would often have to relive their story through repeated interviews with caregivers, DCFs, State’s Attorneys, local law enforcement and others. CAC of North and Northwest Cook County is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, CAC is a fully accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance. CAC provides all services free of charge in both English and Spanish.

Women’s Hearts for Healing is an organization of women who recently joined forces, and whose mission is help raise money and awareness for CAC of North and Northwest Cook County’s Hoffman Estates facility.
