1 Person Missing, 2 Rescued Near North Avenue Beach
The Chicago Fire Department said two people were pulled from Lake Michigan and emergency crews were searching for a third person.

CHICAGO — Two people were rescued from Lake Michigan Friday morning, and a third person is still unaccounted for, fire officials said. A 911 call came in around 7:15, which reported people were in the lake near North Avenue Beach.
Fire crews and police arrived on scene, and two people were rescued, according to the Chicago Fire Department. One person was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their condition has stabilized. The other person refused treatment at the scene.
Rescue crews were searching the lake by boat for a possible third person, and divers were standing by.
