43rd Ward Aldermanic Debate To Be Held In Lincoln Park

The debate will be held in the Lincoln Park High School auditorium.

CHICAGO — A 43rd Ward aldermanic debate will be held in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on Thursday, Jan. 17. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Park High School auditorium, 2001 North Orchard Street. Doors will open at 6:30.

The event will be hosted by the Lincoln Central Association, Wrightwood Neighbors Association and Park West Community Association.

All 43rd Ward aldermanic candidates who have qualified to be on the official ballot for the February 26 election have been invited to participate; however a final list of participating candidates has not been released yet.

Community members can suggest debate questions by emailing 43rddebate@gmail.com. Questions will be screened and selected by a debate committee comprised of two representatives from each host organization.

The debate rules, format and other details will be announced prior to the debate, organizers said.
