43rd Ward Aldermanic Runoff Debate To Be Held In Lincoln Park

CHICAGO — A 43rd Ward aldermanic runoff debate will be held between incumbent Michele Smith and challenger Derek Lindblom on Monday, March 25. The event will be hosted by Lincoln Central Association, Wrightwood Neighbors Association, Park West Community Association and the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.

The debate will be held at Steppenwolf Theatre, 1850 N. Halsted Street, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

43rd Ward residents are asked to suggest debate questions by emailing 43rddebate@gmail.com. Submitted questions will be screened and selected by a debate committee comprised of representatives from each host organization.

Debate format rules and other information will be announced prior to the debate, organizers said.
