DePaul University was ranked as one of the country’s 25 best academic institutions for entrepreneurship education, by annual rankings issued by Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review.
DPU's graduate entrepreneurship program was ranked 17th; and its undergraduate 20th, out of the more than 2,000 schools surveyed.
The programs were evaluated on, among other items, the following criteria:

- How well business fundamentals were taught
- Whether the faculty includes successful entrepreneurs
- The availability of experiential or entrepreneurial opportunities outside of the classroom
