Another Lincoln Park My Fit Foods Lands on Diversey

The company is rapidly expanding in Chicago, with a third location on the North Side cropping up on the border between Lincoln Park and Lake View.

After opening new locations in both Lake View and Lincoln Park, the Texas-based My Fit Foods is opening its third location smack dab in the middle on the communities’ Diversey Parkway border.

The healthy-eating restaurant opened its first stores in the Midwest June 8 at 3701 N. Halsted St. and 157 W. North Ave.with company spokesperson Catherine Stiles saying a third location was in the works, but under wraps. 

Now My Fit Foods is confirming its third store is planned for 639 W. Diversey Parkway near Trader Joe’s and the upcoming flagship Walgreens. It’s almost directly between the company’s first two stores where managers reported customer traffic to be steady.

Spokesperson Whitney Dobson says the upcoming My Fit Foods should be open to shoppers by late summer or early fall.

The trio will join close to 60 other My Fit Foods in five other states.

The store is run like a cross between a takeout restaurant and grocery store, where fresh meals focused on health are whipped up daily. And with personal trainer and My Fit Foods founder Mario Mendias touting 80 percent of weight loss results are due to diet, the store is aiming to make healthy living easier.
