Following two armed robberies in Lincoln Park last week, residents called into question the police presence in the neighborhood.
According to DNA Info, Ald. Michele Smith (43rd) said the separate incidents were unusual for the area and that current police levels were safe.
A public roll call was planned for Wednesday evening, during which district officers will receive orders in public at the site of the second armed robbery.
