Burger King Celebrates National Onion Ring Day With Free Swap

The Lincoln Park fast food joint will trade its onion rings for a competitor's french fries on Friday.

CHICAGO, IL — Burger King is celebrating National Onion Ring Day Friday with a unique offer. Customers can bring in a competitor's french fries to the Lincoln Park Burger King at 1401 W. Fullerton, and receive a free serving of onion rings. The location is one of only four Burger Kings across the United States to offer the deal.

The offer is available on Friday, June 22, from 10:30 a.m. to midnight, the burger chain said. One side of onion rings will be offered per guest.

The "validity" of the competitor's french fries will be determined by restaurant staff, the chain said (e.g. no bringing in your own homemade fries).
