Business Safety Seminar To Be Held In Lincoln Park

Local security experts, police and community leaders will offer tips at the event.

CHICAGO — Business owners, managers and employees are encouraged to attend a safety seminar this week in Lincoln Park. Hosted by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, the event will offer attendees the opportunity to learn how to keep their business, employees and neighborhood safe. Local security experts, the Chicago Police Department and community leaders will be in attendance.

Attendees will also learn more about how to get their money back by implementing security measures in their businesses. Security and vandalism rebate programs are available to businesses within Special Service Area #23 (properties along Clark Street, from Armitage to Diversey, and the south side of Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview) and #35 (properties along Lincoln Avenue, from Webster to Diversey).

The seminar is free to attend, but RSVPS are encouraged. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Station, 2432 N Lincoln Ave. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

  • Frank Kryzak, Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce
