Carjackings Reported In Lincoln Park
At least five cars were stolen in the neighborhood in March and April, police said.
CHICAGO — At least five carjackings were reported in Lincoln Park between March 24 and April 20, police warned in a community alert. Several suspects remain at large.
In each carjacking, the victim was sitting in their vehicle when the suspects came up and announced a robbery, police said. The suspects then threatened the victim and stole their vehicle.

- in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue on March 24 in the evening hours;
- in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Park West on March 24 in the evening hours;
- in the 2300 block of North Cleveland Avenue on March 25 in the morning hours;
- in the 2100 block of North Fremont Street on April 15 in the evening hours;
- in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue on April 20 in the evening hours.
Police are searching for three or four male teens between 16 and 19 years old. They were driving a dark gray SUV during the carjackings.
