Chicago Blackhawk Marian Hossa's $4.25M Condo Up For Sale

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago Blackhawks' right winger Marian Hossa has listed his three-bedroom, four-bathroom Gold Coast condo for $4.25 million. The home was listed for just under $4.5 million in May, and its price has since dropped. The 3,940-square-foot condo has two terraces that overlook downtown Chicago and the lake.

Hossa, 39, has played for the Blackhawks since 2009, and still has three more years left in his contract with the team. In total, he played 19 seasons in the NHL — also playing for the Ottawa Senators, Atlanta Thrashers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. He won three Stanley Cups.

He was placed on the long-term injured reserve list for the 2017-2018 season after he suffered side effects from medication he had been taking for a skin disorder, according to an ESPN report.

Hossa bought the Gold Coast condo on the 14th floor of The Belvedere in 2010 for $2.35 million. It features heated floors, a steam sauna and an open floor plan with "plenty of space to entertain," according to listing agents.
