CHICAGO, IL - It’s not easy to be hidden in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, but a coach house for sale on the busy Sheffield Ave. can claim just that.

Baird Warner Real Estate is listing a condo/townhome at 2116 N. Sheffield Ave. for $425,000.

The 19th Century-built home is surrounded by much taller structures, including a greystone building in front of it facing Sheffield.

For a modest look from the outside, the townhome offers a spacious living area, big bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and skylights and freshly refinished hardwood floors, according to its listing.

According to Curbed Chicago, the townhome has been a hot item this century, switching hands, and prices, numerous times. In 2003, the home was sold for $394,000, then dropped to $340,000 in 2011. The sale price was back up to $385,000 when it sold three years later and returned to the market last month with the $425,000 asking price.
