Community Meeting To Discuss Lincoln Park Zoning Change
The public meeting will discuss a proposed zoning change for a development near Webster and Southport.
CHICAGO — A public meeting will be held on Monday, April 29, to discuss a proposed zoning change at 1358 Webster Avenue. A developer is seeking a zoning map amendment, from C1-1 to C1-3, to allow for a mixed-use development with first-floor retail space and three condominium units above.
Hosted by Ald. Brian Hopkins and the Sheffield Neighborhood Association, the meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the DePaul University Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Ave., in Room 315. No RSVP is necessary.
Hopkins said the applicant intends to demolish the existing structure, and erect a new structure.
