Cubs Hold Rally At Franklin Elementary

Clark the Cub celebrated with 300 students at the rally.

CHICAGO — Cubs Charities held a Cubs Jr. All-Stars rally at Franklin Elementary Fine Arts Center in Old Town Monday. Clark the Cub led 300 students in various games and activities that tied back to Cubs Charities’ STAR values: Strength, Teamwork, Attitude and Respect.

Cubs Charities holds rallies at schools that participate in the Cubs Jr. All-Stars Spring Training Physical Education program, a five-week program that combines teaching baseball skills alongside social emotional values.

In 2019, 10 schools participated in the Cubs Jr. physical education program.

Cubs Charities also hosted its 14th Annual Race to Wrigley 5K in late April. Thousands of runners and Cubs fans participate from across the Chicago area.
