DePaul Student Kidnapped, Robbed In Lincoln Park

The victim was kidnapped near Fullerton and Halsted, according to a DePaul safety alert.

CHICAGO — A DePaul student was kidnapped and robbed near the school's campus in Lincoln Park Tuesday evening, the university said in a safety alert. The student was forced into a car at gunpoint behind the McDonald's at Halsted and Fullerton around 8 p.m.

The student was walking in the alley behind the restaurant, when two men and a woman went up to him with the firearm and made him get into a black car, according to the alert.

The suspects then drove to an off-campus location and robbed him, the university said.

The student was not harmed.
