Dog Up For Adoption Through Lincoln Park PAWS: 'Total Lovebug'

"This handsome boy is a bright, shining star who has a tail that never seems to stop wagging," the adoption center said.

CHICAGO, IL — A Labrador Retriever-Beagle mix named Tyson is up for adoption through PAWS Chicago. He's 5-years-old, weighs 48 pounds and is "always up for adventures," the center said. Unfortunately Tyson has some health issues, but the center said that finding that "special someone who could accept him for who he is and provide him with the love he so deserves" would make him "as happy as can be."

"He will need to find an experienced, adults-only family who will be comfortable administering his insulin twice a day and will be able to give him daily medication to treat his hypothyroidism," the center said. "Despite all of this, Tyson is a happy-go-lucky guy who is always eager to please!"

Tyson is part of PAWS Chicago’s Featured 5 adoption program. If you adopt through the program, you'll receive:
