Fyre Festival Pop Up Coming To Lincoln Park
The catastrophic failure of a festival, and all the outrage and humor that came from it, will be the subject of Replay's next pop up.

CHICAGO — A Fyre Festival pop-up bar is coming to Lincoln Park this spring, inspired by the infamous event that's now the subject of several recent documentaries. Hosted by Replay Lincoln Park from May 3 to May 19, the Fyre pop up will re-create the festival's now-iconic mayhem.
The festival — known for its processed cheese and lettuce "sandwiches," its rain-soaked mattresses and its broken white dome tents — failed miserably in April 2017. The event's advertising, complete with the world's top supermodels and paradisiacal videos, was far too successful — drawing thousands of festival-goers who forked out the big bucks, only to be stranded on an island with no water and no proper accommodation in a Lord of the Flies-type scenario.
Replay owners promise its pop-up will do things better, with gourmet cheese sandwiches, spiked frozen drinks and even (gasp) bottled water — something the festival-goers didn't have.
