Green City Market Chef BBQ Tickets Go On Sale

The Lincoln Park event will feature more than 100 Chicago chefs.

CHICAGO — Tickets are now on sale for the Green City Market Chef BBQ, which will be held July 18 in Lincoln Park. The event will feature more than 100 local chefs, who will use ingredients provided by Green City Market farmers, organizers said.

Many James Beard-nominated spots — including mfk, Big Jones, Cindy’s, North Pond, Spiagga, Cellar Door Provisions and Monteverde — will offer dishes at the event, organizers said.

Chicago restaurants and beverage purveyors will offer tasting portions made from local produce, heritage meats and craft beverages. More than 2,000 people attended last year's barbecue.
