Lincoln Park High School Threat Under Investigation

Threatening graffiti was found in one of the school's bathrooms, according to a report.

CHICAGO — Officials are investigating a threat found in Lincoln Park High School on the North Side, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times. Graffiti that referenced a shooting on Dec. 14 was found in a bathroom at the school, the Sun-Times reported.

All students are now required to scan their book bags and personal items through X-ray machines and metal detectors while the investigation is underway.

Officials sent an email to parents on Wednesday, making them aware of a potential threat to the school," the Sun-Times reported.
