Lincoln Park Home With Dog Shower, Basketball Court Sells for Less Than $5 Million

​Couple who owned home for two years makes profit after renovation.

Chicago, IL - An 11-room Lincoln Park home is off the market, selling for $4.8 million recently according to Crain’s Chicago.

Christopher and Lisa Cartwright bought the two-bedroom home two years ago and completely overhauled the interior, according to Crain’s, switching the Prairie-style cabinetry and neutral tones to an almost all-white interior.

The couple made a profit of $880,000 after two years of owning the property, but the cost of the renovation is not known.

The home has several features not usually included in an in-city dwelling, such as an indoor dog shower and half-court basketball gym.
