Lincoln Park Night Out To Celebrate Chicago Theater

The new monthly series will showcase neighborhood theaters.

CHICAGO — A new theater series has been announced on the city's North Side to highlight local companies and talent. Lincoln Park Night Out, which was created to celebrate the 2019 Year of Chicago Theater, will showcase a new local theater group each month.

Presented by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, the series will celebrate "exciting new work" in the city, which presents hundreds of world premieres every year.

“We are so excited to showcase our neighborhood theaters as part of this city-wide celebration,” Kim Schilf, president and CEO of the LPCC, said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have so many acclaimed theaters in our backyard anchoring our commercial corridors and employing artists from all over the city.”
