Jackie Taylor Holsten, Founder & Chair of the Board of HHCD (Holsten Human Capital Development), not-for-profit, was pleased to honor Lincoln Park resident and architect Pete Landon with HHCD’s “Community Sustainability Award” for his efforts in aiding the growth of HHCD. Says Holsten, “Pete Landon spearheaded HHCD’s intergenerational mosaic projects at our Hilliard and Parkside locations. He drew on his experience and recognizable expertise in city planning - not only as Chair of Chicago Public Arts Group, but also as a partner architect, to use design and compassion to inspire our low-income and affordable-housing residents to feel connected to where they live. We are pleased to give him this Community Sustainability Award as a token of our appreciation for all his assistance.”

Pete Landon (FAIA, LEED AP), a principal at Landon Bone Baker Architects, is known for his community-based city planning, development, and design work. He is a champion of “social consciousness” and diversity in design, and he supports neighborhood revitalization efforts across Chicago.
