Lockwood Restaurant & Bar Announces Chef Mat Wiltzius' Five-Course Valentine's Day Tasting Menu on February 13 and 14

CHICAGO – Lockwood Restaurant & Bar, located on the lobby level of The Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, at 17 E. Monroe, is proud to offer a five-course tasting dinner menu in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The menu is available Saturday, Feb. 13 and Sunday, Feb. 14 from 5 – 10 p.m. The dinner for adults is $70 and a wine-pairing menu complementing the courses is available for $20. Valentine’s Day guests may also order from the Lockwood Bar & Restaurant menu. Three hour discounted self-parking is available at 55 E. Monroe Parking Garage, receive parking validation at Lockwood Restaurant & Bar’s host stand. In addition, The Palmer House has a special King Accommodations beginning at $179 for couples attending the dinner. Lamb carpaccio with petite beet, green olive and sorrel

Second Course

Fried oyster with salsify puree, juniper and vodka – caviar cream sauce

Third Course

Hamachi crudo, truffle, hearts of palm and nasturtium

Fourth Course

Smoked sirloin with young carrot, parsley root puree and brûléed endive

Fifth Course

Mille feuille of winterberry, white chocolate and St. Germain
