Luxury Home Sales Surge In Lincoln Park
According to the latest RE/MAX Luxury Report, Lincoln Park is leading metro Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL — Luxury home sales have skyrocketed in Lincoln Park for the third quarter of the year, according to a recent report by RE/MAX on Metro Chicago Real Estate. The report revealed that Lincoln Park led Chicago in million-dollar sales of attached homes, which includes townhouses, condominiums, and co-ops.
The report found that 34 attached homes were sold for $1 million and up in Lincoln Park from July to September, at a median price of $1.35 million.
The North Center had previously led the city in luxury sales, but it's hard to beat the whopping 79 percent increase Lincoln Park saw over the same period a year ago.

The RE/MAX Luxury Report is a quarterly analysis of $1 million-plus home sales in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties based on data compiled by Midwest Real Estate Data.
In Chicago, third-quarter luxury-home sales totaled 356 units, 15.6 percent more than the same period in 2016, and the median sales price fell 3 percent to $1,342,500.

North Center sales gained 12.9 percent to 35 units, with a median price of $1,270,000. The other major communities for luxury sales were Lake View, where there were 32 sales at a median price of $1,525,000, and West Town, which had 28 sales at a median price of $1,242,500.
