Man Carjacked At Gunpoint In Lincoln Park

CHICAGO — Police are searching for suspects after a man was carjacked in Lincoln Park Monday night. The 26-year-old man was sitting in his car in the 2100 block of North Fremont Street when two men approached and stood on each side of his vehicle, police said.

The suspect on the driver's side pulled out a handgun and demanded the car, police said. The victim got out and the suspects took off in his vehicle.

The victim was not injured.

The car is described as a 2008 black Honda Civic. The suspects drove south on Fremont Street, police said.

No one was in custody. Area Central detectives were investigating.
