New Rooftop Bar Coming To Second City Comedy Club
Fifty/50 Restaurant Group said it's partnering with the club to create the new bar.
CHICAGO, IL — Second City Comedy Club is working with Fifty/50 Restaurant Group to open a rooftop bar above the club in Old Town, the group said. Fifty/50 founders Scott Weiner and Greg Mohr have partnered with Second City to create the new bar.
Mohr said the new bar will be more "laid back" than the Apogee rooftop lounge that Fifty/50 opened last summer on the 26th floor of the Dana Hotel, according to a report by Crain's.
"It's a pretty massive undertaking," Weiner told Crain's.

When completed, the rooftop will be one of the city's largest, and is set to open next summer, according to the report.
