Noose Found On DePaul Campus Days After Protesters Halt Conservative's Speech
University statement describes find as "a horrific symbol of racist intimidation."

CHICAGO, IL - DePaul University in Lincoln Park is at the center of controversy for the second time this week.
On Thursday, multiple reports were made indicating a noose has been found on campus.
The school called the find “a horrific symbol of racist intimidation” in an alert sent to students and faculty. The noose was found on Thursday.

“Those found to be responsible will be held accountable," the statement continued, but school officials would not elaborate on more details behind the finding.
The noose was found just days after the DePaul campus made national headlines for rowdy protesters who crashed the stage and put an end to a talk by conservative British journalist Milo Yiannopoulos at the campus.

According to Breitbart, the protesters “stormed the stage, blew whistles, grabbed the microphone out of the speaker’s hands and threatened to punch Yiannopolos in the face.”
One woman wearing a ‘Straight Outta Chicago’ T-shirt was shown on video nearly striking Yiannopolos in the face then dancing on the stage.
