Oprah's Former Producer Sells Lincoln Park Home
Ellen Rakieten sold the beauty for more than $4 million.
CHICAGO, IL - The longtime television producer who was responsible for the idea for Oprah Winfrey to give away a free car to everyone in her audience recently gave away a house.
But not for free. Ellen Rakieten, who worked at Harpo Studios for 13 years and also created other television shows such as “Dr. Phil” and “The Dr. Oz Show,” sold the Lincoln Park home recently for $4.9 million, according to Crain’s Chicago.
The home has a large reception foyer, crown moldings and a marble master-bedroom fireplace.
