PAWS Chicago Holds Adopt-A-Thon In Lincoln Park

If you're looking for a new furry family member, stop by the adoption center on Clybourn Avenue this weekend.

CHICAGO, IL — PAWS Chicago is holding an adoption marathon this weekend at its Lincoln Park adoption center. The 8th annual Spring Adopt-a-Thon will run from Friday, April 20 at 11 a.m. to Saturday, April 21 at 11 p.m. More than 100 pets are up for adoption at the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

"Cats and dogs are still being turned into shelters in alarming numbers," the adoption center posted on its website. "By working with the community, PAWS Chicago is hoping to give these special animals a second chance. When you adopt from an animal shelter or rescue organization, you are not just saving one life; you are helping to create the space we need to rescue more animals."

All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have up-to-date on shots based on age and arrival date.
