Popular Breakfast Restaurant Closes In Lincoln Park
The North Side brunch spot Kingsbury Street Cafe has closed its doors.
CHICAGO, IL — A popular brunch spot in Lincoln Park has officially closed its doors. Kingsbury Street Cafe, which was open since 2011, closed in early June, according to Yelp. While the spot was known for its breakfast and brunch menus, the restaurant at 1523 North Kingsbury Street also offered dinner and a variety of cocktails and beer options.
Monique Duong Mark and her mother Hoa Dong opened the family restaurant in 2011 with the simple goal of offering customers healthy, delicious meals with friendly service.
It's unclear why the restaurant closed, and its owners could not be reached for comment.
