Walk, raise funds and help lead the way towards a world without pulmonary fibrosis (PF), a devastating disease that causes progressive scarring in the lungs. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) is hosting its 3rd Annual PFF Walk Chicago on Saturday, September 14 at Diversey Harbor in Lincoln Park. The PFF Walk offers a special opportunity to unite the community, build awareness and sustain vital programs for people living with PF. Both the one and three-mile courses offer beautiful views of Chicago’s magnificent skyline and lakefront. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10 a.m.
A celebration featuring refreshments and music will take place immediately following the Walk. In addition, PFF resources for patients and caregivers will be available.
Registration for the PFF Walk is free and participants who raise $100 or more will receive a PFF Walk t-shirt. Since 2017, the PFF Walk Chicago has raised over $539,000 for programs to serve the PF community.
