Tickets Go On Sale For Fried Chicken And Champagne Fest
The fourth annual festival will be held on Goose Island.
CHICAGO — An unusual but delicious pairing is back in Chicago — the fourth annual Fried Chicken & Champagne Fest will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, on Goose Island. Some of the city's top chefs will fry up their take on the classic dish while vying for awards.
The event will be held at Kendall College from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fried dishes will be paired with different types of Champagne and sparkling wines provided by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. A VIP Champagne Lounge will serve up premium selections from Pops for Champagne to sip and swirl.

A lineup of chefs will compete for the following awards :
- The Golden Hen – Best Overall Fried Chicken (Determined by an esteemed panel of media and industry experts)
- The People’s Choice (Voted upon by attendees)
- Best Table Décor (Voted upon by attendees)

- Basic Bird $90: Includes tastings of each chef’s fried chicken dish, accompaniments, sparkling water, dessert, sparkling wine and Champagne.
- Fancy Fowl $195: Includes all of the above perks plus 30-minute early entry and exclusive access into the Pops for Champagne pop-up lounge featuring a wide selection of premium Champagnes.
All event proceeds benefit Kendall College Trust, a not-for-profit organization that raises scholarship funds for students' culinary and hospitality degrees and supports the group's culinary camp for high school students from underserved communities in Chicago.
